Wander through the towns of El Arenal, Amatitán, Tequila and Magdelena, following the "Tequila Route".
The Mexican government this year (2007) began promoting La Ruta del Tequila, a Tequila Trail, with the wine country of California's Napa Valley as a model, that will draw tourists to visit distilleries, such as the Don Valente operation.
