Amatitan - An important tequila producing region of Jalisco, Mexico. Its first settlers were indigenous Nahuatlacas

Arandas - located in the eastern part of the state of Jalisco, about a two hour drive from Guadalajara.

Atotonilco el Alta - located along mountain chain forming a long and deep cliff where the Sabinos River runs, with a pleasant weather, nice views, farms and orange trees.

El Arenal - A town and municipality within the state of Jalisco, situated near Amatitán about 40 km from the Guadalajara metropolitan area.

Guadalajara - the capital city of Jalisco, Mexico and is second most populated municipality in Mexico.

Tequila, Jalisco - The town (municipality) of Tequila is situated in the state of Jalisco, in central-pacific Mexico, which was settled in 1656 and named after its early residents, a local Indian tribe.

Tonalá - well known for crafts

Blue Agave plants can be grown anywhere in the state of Jalisco for the production of tequila. The production of tequila is legal in all areas of Jalisco as well as four other states within Mexico. Three of these states, Michoacan, Guanajuato and Nayarit, border Jalisco. The fourth, Tamaulipas, is further east, on Mexico's Caribbean (Gulf) coast.
